The Blue Ash Youth Symphony Orchestra exists to help students broaden their musical horizons and abilities, share their interests with new friends and explore the possibilities of future involvement in music. Through exposure to compositions of high quality, an ability to discern and savor artistic expression will develop. We provide the opportunity to work with professional musicians of noted accomplishments to help bring fresh insight to the joy of making music. The involvement of parents in the process of music education is of the utmost importance. Volunteers who willingly give of their time and talents for the students in our group manage our organization. We are indebted to the Sycamore City Schools, the Blue Ash Symphony, the Montgomery Assembly of God Church and Xavier University for their support of our efforts.
From the President
Welcome to the Blue Ash Youth Symphony Orchestra. Since 1991, we have given hundreds of area 7th through 12th graders the opportunity to perform in a full orchestra under the direction of tremendous conductors like Dale Swisher. Our goal is really very simple: to help young musicians develop the love of performing music. We hope the years you are involved with the Blue Ash Youth Symphony Orchestra are truly rewarding and we thank you for all that you do for this outstanding organization. BRAVO!
